- Identify the exact model and options. Include the heater, booster, voltage, phase, stand and any drain options. A similar product name is not a substitute.
- Get the applicable manufacturer documents. Match the revision and serial-number applicability to the quote. Ask the seller to clarify conflicts before paying.
- Separate load from supply requirements. Have a qualified electrician check the data plate, wiring, circuit, protection and local rules. Do not size a breaker from this guide.
- Check the full physical space. Include open-door travel, adjustable feet, rear connections and service access, not only the metal cabinet's nominal dimensions.
- Check water and drain conditions. Have the installer confirm incoming temperature, flow, pressure, drain height, routing and any tempering or backflow provisions for the exact configuration.
- Confirm the installed cost and order terms. Equipment price alone does not include all plumbing, electrical, delivery, chemicals, permits or service. Verify return, cancellation, freight and warranty terms with the seller.
For chemical-sanitizing models, the chemical system and consumables need their own operating plan. For hot-water models, the booster and incoming-water requirements need explicit confirmation.
